Hmm. Guess I'll just have to hit my head a couple more times on the wall. *G*

What I am after is to initialize an application, load an array (Container?) object with the object references for the different COM object references and pass that object or make it available by passing it to forms, etc. These objects will be driven from a SQL table.

IOW, instantiate each COM module into the array. Unlike Scott I don't think I need much more than a single column array.

That way all the methods and properties that would have historically been declared as PUBLIC are contained in this object.

I think I'll go back (on your advice) and check more carefully into the differences between Containes, Lines and Customs.

I'm also beginning to think I've gotten so far back in the reference chain I've bumped into my own backside. *G*
