Thank you for the information you sent me. Rereading my previous message, I see I forgot something very important: I want to use CreateFile() to have a handle to a drive (that I can use with DeviceIOControl()). Sorry for this miss. Probably it really drove me nuts... :)

I found something on it since than: it will not work in Win95. This info is also present in Win32API help, but is not clear what's working and what not. Now I'm searching on how to do the same thing using virtual devices, but I don't have to much time to "take care" of this problem.
