Ok, well, luckily I just got VFP5.0A in the mail and installed it. The ActiveX controls are working fine now, thank goodness. I don't know if this is a 5.0A fix, or simply becuase I reinstalled VFP.

>I have faced this problem and so did a couple of guys in this forum. Apparently my problem is b'cos I have installed Office 97 and it override some licensing of the Active X. I managed to correct this through the help from Microsoft (US). They will instruct you to create new license number. I managed to contact them through email in the
www.microsoft.com/vfoxpro site. Hope this will help you.

>>I was looking into using MAPI in one of my applications recently and was going to use the MSMAPI32.OCX ActiveX control that comes with VFP 5.0. Imagine my surprise when I tried to drop the control on a form and recieved the following error code: "OLE error code 0x80040112: Appropriate license for this class not found". License? For the MAPI control? Well, I was even more dismayed when I tried every other AcitveX control that's is included by default in VFP and recieved the same error.
