Using the report generator, I use the printer setup functions under the files menu to designate a non-default impact printer as the target for printing. I also use the printer setup dialogs to set a customized form size (since the driver does not have a pre-canned option for the forms I use).

This all works fine until someone working on a different computer in the network tries to generate the desired report using the .frx file I generated and setup. Typically, invocation on a different computer results in VFP using the default printer (with it's default orientation and page size) as the printer for the form.

Even worse, when I use my computer to build an .exe version of my app, the building process causes my default printer to be used when the .exe image of the .srx file is built (or apparently so), since when I run the report from the compiled app, it automatically uses my default printer (not the special impact printer I need to use on this particular report).

I have read over many of the print commands and settings for VFP and they all pretty much seem tailored for the old DOS based version of FP.

Is there a way for me to specify the printer and it's attributes in the report generator in such a way that user's of other machines on the net and the .exe builder will use the printer I want rather than using the local default?
