I was wondering if there is a way that I can use the winsock.ocx in VFP.

I would like to set up a UDP server, that could sit there waiting for messages from multiple devices.

I have a very limited understanding of TCP/IP and UDP.

I have created a form with the control on it.
I add a port number to it.
I bind the port. When I do that the state property of the control changes to Open.

What do I need to do to collect the data from a device?

And of course the other question is how do I send data to a device?

Any good reading out there, to help me get up to speed quickly?
