I had another thought about overcoming the record limit you are experiencing. Have you tried to create a COM object of excel and ahve VFP populate the worksheet?

Take a look at http://www.informit.com. You can view a copy of Menachem Bazian's Book at this site. Either Chapter 21 or 22 covers this. It may address what you are trying to do.
