"Code Complete" sounds like a good idea. I'm trying to figure out a way to help fill in the guys background.
I don't have the time to do exercises like pseudocode with him. Its a catch22 situation in that the company is small and doesn't have a lot of money to pay employees, although I'm getting a decent wage. So the folks I'm surrounded with are all self-taught types.
But now the company is moving forward with several projects. So I'll be busy creating systems.
