I'm curious to know if anyone has tried this before.

I'm storing a WAV file in a general field using the MS Active-X MultiMedia Control to record audio. The sound byte gets stored as a non-linked object in the table (using Append General) and the WAV file gets deleted after I'm done with it. So the only place the WAV exists is in the table.

In some cases I may want to use the MS MM control to add another sound byte (append to) to the existing wav that's stored in the general field.

So, the question is how can you create a wav file from the contents of a non-linked general field, for editing by some other application?

Thanks for any suggestions!
