The wwIPStuff functionality provides just what WinInet provides. I know there are some problems with some Unix servers that use non-standard sytnax and this sounds like one of those occasions.

The focus of wwIPStuff is on Web functionality and FTP is just a bonus in that tool rather than a primary functionality.
