Oh no, Don't even get us started on AS400- to late! That is our primary data warehouse and the platform that runs our MRP system. If that's not bad enough, we don't have just a AS400, we have 3 of them - arrgh. I guess its fine if you like RPG (oh no, 70's flashback). But hey, things are looking up - we just got JAVA installed the big blue box (they're actually black). Thats just what I want to do, write data intensive business applications in JAVA (NOT). Have you ever used the JDBC after the Fox? Real bummer.

I hope you enjoy the book! It's been the one I use most often for reference. You can tell cause its the book with all the frayed edges, coffee stains, etc.
