Do not make your decision based on rumors. Those who start the rumors are in no position to know [regardless of who the know] and usually involve ignorant MS field reps. Those who do know are bound by MS non-disclosure agreements. I disagree that VB is better at data handling than VFP. VFP is a well documented data-centric development tool. Since you have PUTM, I suggest doing a search on this topic in this forum.
