Do Modal Forms do an implicit Push and Pop of the _MSYSMENU?

I have a function that changes the interface language of forms, menus, and message text. When there are no forms running I can select a new language, rerun my .MPR and the language changes are refelected in the menu.

When I run a modal form and then change the language the changes appear in the form and the menu (although I disable the options so they can't be selected) but when I close the modal form the menu reverts back to the language it was when it called the form.

Is there any way around this?

Another curious happening: When I define a menu using DEFINE MENU and run the form, the menu disappears when the form is closed and I have to Activate the menu again.
