Thanks for info. I am not currently using MTS but may look into this. I am using Kill when needed to stop the service but I can use foxisapi /reset to release the VFP servers. So you're saying ( as I have understood ) that there is no way in IIS itself to control the duration of COM servers in memory. Wish MS would change this. :-)
