John, I just wanted to give you a follow up on this. The memo field file manipulation works great! The MS MM control is pretty cool and a really easy way to get audio (or video) control into an app. I created a simple vfp sound class. Now getting audio control is as easy as dropping it on a form and manipulating 2 properties and voila!
