Is anyone aware of a windows api call that I could use to force a client's system date preference to be mm/dd/yyyy? We strongly recommend that our clients use this setting but some just do not get around to doing it. It some instances in our applications where it is not possible to format the input queries the sliding date-year window in sql server takes over and, for example, assumes that 01/01/30 is 01/01/2030 - if the query is going against a date of birth no results are returned.
