Sounds like you might have to recode your validations to recognize appends as having distinct requirements. Can you give more information as to what is happening and what is being validated and how?
>Does anyone know how to handle appending records in situation where you have field/table validation in the dbc. I'm having a problem when I go to append a new record. In order to refresh the relationship I use a variable to establish the current record, then I ship and then go back to it. But then that causes the validation in the child table to run. Which is not what I want since I am appending a new record. How are parent child relationship handle when you have table/validation in the dbc.
