>Well, after digging for some time, I found that I had checked [x]Private Data Session. GenRepoX didn't like that. I also found that for some reason it won't accept numerical or currency values in my report - so things that looked OK in the print preview (or what passes for OK in the report writer [grin]) always stopped GenRepoX with 'invalid type, count, or argument'. If there's a way around all of this, please let me know. I am trying not to add this to my list of tools that I make a mess with. :)

Yes, there is an issue with numerical values at this point. You can work around it by simply transforming it into a string using the STR() or TRANS() function in your expression.
