I had this occur when we changed to Win95 and/or new computers. I had to change all the drive designations to UNC. A PITA, but it worked. I used Find to get the file names and replace tomake the change.

>When we run our FoxPro DOS (2.5a) app from our network, we often lose our network drive mappings (message "Cannot access drive G:" or something like that). What is interesting about this problem is the following:
>
>-- While only the FoxPro DOS window loses the drive mappings, other DOS or Windows sessions running on the same PC (under Windows 98) still can access that network drive mapping!!
>-- We've only noticed this behavior since we switched from 10baseT and Novell 3.12 to 100baseT networking with Windows NT 4.0
>-- This only seems to happen on some of our faster machines (in particular one Pentium III 550 MHz PC)
>-- This problem does not always happen - or even in the same place in the application.
>-- The application itself has not changed.

>All of the above seems to point to a problem with faster computers and/or networks.
>Does anyone know anything about any such problems? Any information about this would be much appreciated.

>Thanks in advance for your assistance.
