A client has asked for an app to hold central medical records in one town and for various clinics in other towns to be able to dial in to access/process data. The client thinks a Client Server app would be best. Some questions (not having done Client Server before!):

1. Is it really worthwhile in terms of data access speed etc
2. Is a VFP Client Server app really practical/robust
3. What type of server does it need to sit on - a standard PC or an SQL server
4. Where's the best source of info on this?

Any advice/ideas for this newbe would be appreciated
