AutoRoute is a program written by a company called Nextbase who have recently sold to Microsoft(I think). Basically it uses digitised Ordnance Survey maps to calculate distances and suggested routes. It is accurate to 1 Km and enables us to charge our customers.

Sage is the Uk,s best selling accounting software, we need to be able to transfer simple invoice information into this program to maintain our ledgers.

Please note that all our systems are Windows 95 with the exception of this Foxpro application. One other possible soloution we are considering is having the whole package wre written in a Windows 95 data base package such as Access 97.

As far as our time scale is concerned, if we could get the Foxpro application we have to run it would buy us alot more time to develop our ideal system. We very much see consigning systems particuarily ones that can link with our customers systems as the furture in the UK parcels market. I think over here we are probably a little behind you guys.

I look forward to hearing from you.
