I have developed a small banking project
I have a master table in which I have the fields as
ACTYPE,ACNO,ClientNAME,Address,LatestBalance

I have a Detail table in which I have the fields as
ACTYPE,ACNO,DebitCreditType,Amount,interest

Something went wrong with the detail table and got currupted so restored it from my backup (Not all records). Now the master table doesn't reflects the LatestBalance as it should.

Now If I try to update the master.LatestBalance with sum(Amount) from the detail table for that ACTYPE,ACNO it updates those records Properly But for other ACs the LatestBalance should become zero which is not happening Any one Pls. Suggest some solution.
