Sorry, there is no way to determine what is stored to a function key macro programmatically (function key defined with SET FUNCTION).

But are you talking about SET FUNCTION or ON KEY LABEL? With SET FUNCTION you are doomed. With OKL, you can get the setting with On("Key") and you should be able to restore your settings with POP KEY ALL. But it's been awhile since I have used OKL.
