I want to link a combobox control to a field in a table allowing the user to choose a value from the control or let the user type in a value and have the vale added to both the table and the table the combobox is tied to. That way the combobox will always have updated values to draw from.

In VFP 5, the help file for a combobox states "A ComboBox control combines the features of a TextBox control and a ListBox control. You can enter information in the text box portion or select an item from the list box portion of the control."

I can't seem to enter info in the control and have it place the value in the table field or the table the combobox uses as the source.

Anyone know how to do this?
