I ranted about this last year on the UT and got some rather nonchalant (and one nasty) responses ranging from: what's the big deal... just install IE4 or later to HTML Help is great... what we have all been waiting for... get a life!

Guess they missed the point.

If you check it and run the subsequent setup, you get an error from the wizard saying IE4 or later has to be installed on the computer for HTML Help to be installed. If I install IE4 or later, the HTML Help Engine part of the setup is redundant because my CHM file runs as expected from my app without including this as part of the setup wizard options.
