This gives me the same result. Note: When I run my report the SQL statement first groups the records by type then groups the type by maincategory. Since the maincategory has many instances I sum them to produce distinct maincategories with the total of each maincategory. Now comes my problem, What I want to do is give an overall total of the maincategories.
