I think I've heard similar stories about 294< g >. In Chicago, given the extremes in weather, it's a little easier to understand. I mean it can and does get up over 100, and can go well below 0. Add the traffic...and roads don't hold up very well. There are some streets in Chicago that look (and feel) like they've been hit with a couple of hundred rounds of mortar fire.

It wasn't bad here when we first moved here. Since then the population has increased about fourfold. With it the traffic has gotten pretty bad. Not Chicago bad by any means, but by comparison to what it was...:-(
