>Hi Jeff,
>>
>>Born and Raised in Atlanta(Fayetteville). Just moved to the BIG city of Wichita (pop. 300,000) this summer. I went to Sourthern Tech so I lived in Marietta for several Years.

>>George is right. It was Pascal Perez. That was reallllyyy funny at the time. ;)
>>
>>I tell you what I miss most is Chick-fil-a and sweat tea.

>The tea you can make for yourself. As for Chick-fil-a, pretend every day is Sunday< g >. I'm originally from Chicago, and the things I miss (in no particular order): Prime Beef, Pizza, Italian Beef Sandwiches.

>>>To friends who visit from out of town, we tell them, "You might think it's called 285 because that's the interstate number. Nope! It's called that because the people think it's the speed limit."< g >
>>
>>Yep, especially the trucks. I will have to admit that is one thing I do not miss. The TRAFFIC.
>>
>Believe me, Jeff (and I'm not indulging in one-upsmanship here), if you think Atlanta was bad, try Chicago. It's virtually impossible to go any distance without running into some construction on the expressways. I-294 is a toll road (with about a half dozen toll booths from one end to the other). People drive bumper-to-bumper at 60 MPH (when they're moving, which sometimes isn't much).

Tell me about it. :-) I drive the I-85 corridor every day from GA-316 to North Druid Hills. If I don't leave home before 6AM in the morning and 3:30PM in the afternoon ... well, c a n y o u s p e l l s l o w? Sure.

There's a whole new meaning to "maintaining the speed of the traffic" around here since cars don't have accelerators on 'em. They have toggle switches - ON or OFF. :-)
