word for today is backordered -- due to ship april 24th. someone here requested overnight shipping last week and was sent 5.0..... i guess if you can wait, they won't send you the wrong version...
>I tried that trick about the "maintenance" release being free, the lady at Microsoft was having no part of it. I ended up having to pay $20+5 shipping. This was late last week. She also said it would be on backorder for 3-4 weeks.

>I finally discovered how to tell if Microsoft is lying - just check to see if their lips are moving!

>>My supervisor called Microsoft and requested VFP 5.0a. Microsoft asked for the number off the VFP 5.0 cd and asked if she wanted CD or disks. She requested a CD and was told it would arrive in 3-4 days.
>>
>>Today I got the CD and installed it and it was VFP 5.0.
>>
>>My supervisor called Microsoft and the employee she spoke with stated it was the third call today he had received with the exact same problem. After researching the problem, he stated VFP 5.0a was ONLY available on diskette and it would take 3-4 weeks.
>>
>>Has anybody received 5.0a on CD?
