I don't think so, but, admittedly, I didn't try it. When this occurred, the first thing I did was check the registry. The license key was exactly the same as the one on my machine. Under the
Cause section of the KB article, it says that AddObject() (and presumably CreateObject()) require a run-time license and the Setup Wizard only creates a run-time license. However, since the license keys were the same for the Common Dialogs Control, I'd say this may be incorrect. It would seem that the problem is more closely connected with the inability of VFP to resolve the license at run-time or a problem connected with holding the reference in either a property or a variable. This is, of course, simply a SWAG, but from the symptoms, I'd have to say I may be pretty close.
