>>Use a General Field to store the images. Look at the Append General and Modify General in help to get an idea of manipulating the pictures in your table.

>>>I would like to save images in a memo file. What kind of memo field do I need ? How can I save an image into a memo file, how can I display it on screen and how can I save it from a memo file to a field ? Is it possible in vfp directly or should I do it in VB as an ocx ? I didn't find any example of this in the help.

The last time I did that was over 2 years ago. I had a system for a Police Department that stored mug shots. I did something like a GETFILE() to have them point to an image. I put an image control on a Form and in a Report to display the image bound to the General field. I'm sorry, I can't remember the details of capturing the image from a file though. Post another message for that and I'm sure someone here will be able to help you.
