Allan,

I have uploaded an EXE to the files section, #1090, which serves as a universal workstation launcher. The idea is to make an installation set for this executable only, and install it on all workstations. You then simply load your data and EXE/APP files onto the server. You can upgrade your server EXE/APP files, as well as OCX and DLL whenever you want, and the updates automatically go to the workstations.

Although this is not exactly the approach you seem to want, it solved the same problems for me that you mention. To wit, I never had to mess with the setup wizard after creating the installation image for this universal launcher.

FWIW, the program does not use registry settings, but writes a little text file into its install directory, better for folks like me who would rather type "EDIT SYSLAUNCH.CFG" then mess with the registry.
