Ok,

I go through and set up a DTS to move an existing VFP table to an existing SQL 7 table.

All SEEMS to work well with set-up - that is - all fields etc show up from both tables and I map like I think it should be. There are some new fields in the SQL table, and some no-longer used ones in VFP. Some fields have changed names. Nevertheless, I am meticulous about mapping them properly - specifying "" whenever there is a field that exists in one table but not the other.

All goes well until I push "finish" at the end. - at which point the DTS dialog "lock-up" on me and I haveto force quit out of Enterprise Manager. I have reinstalled the latest MDAC (though I seem to now have dual copies of some of the files).

Any ideas anyone?
