Ok I know I promised to leave Erik alone but I guess I unintentionaly lied :)
I have a bunch of questions so maybe it will make more sense if I explain what Im trying to achieve. I want to be able to display an animated banner on the main form of my application. The app accesses my ftp server once a month for information so I wanted to update the end-users directory with this months banners (I considered putting the banners in a table so the user wouldnt have access to what was displayed.) The banners will be hyperlinks to certain web-sites. (If anyones ever used Gozilla they know what Im attempting.) If I use the MS IE control I have the following issues:
1) I cant disable the right click menu for the aniGIF (banner.)
2) I cant use aniGIFs alone, Id have to use HTML so I can have a hyperlink property for the aniGIF.
3) I cant read the aniGIFs from a table.
If anyone knows of a control that displays aniGIFS alone that might have a mouseover and a click method, and the control source can come from a general field in a table, Id be greatly appreciative.
