Running from Windows NT workstation, I too experience a delay when printing to a NOVELL based printer on the local area network. My locally attached HP LJ prints immediately with the same programming -- sooooo.... I have to guess that Windows NT Workstation connection to the NOVELL server queue is the problem. I notice a remarkable improvement if I print again within a few minutes, but if I wait an hour or more, the same delay takes place. Sorry I don't have a fix, but at least you now know that you are not alone in your observation. As I said before, my locally attached printer on my Windows NT workstation does not have the problem -- ( I have two NT workstations, both V 4, build 1381, one at SP3 the other at SP5 and they both exhibit the same behaviour ).
