Reaming FoxPro will not help it in any way. I think about crappy TV shows that come back the next season with a different name and the network thinking that will help. Guess what....the show is still crappy. Renaming VFP will not do anything to it. IMO, it will make things worse.

Client: "FoxPro?? Oh yeah, Microsoft got rid of it"
Your reply: "No, they just renamed it"

This won't accomplish a thing.

As for xBase, Microsoft is trying to get away from the idea of equating VFP to xBase. Why would they go back to it?
