If you're sticking with that you'll have to do what Jess said, add custom properties (Form->Add property method in the form designer) and use those, or declare the orgiginals public, which is usually not a good practice.

If you use the same form instead of calling another I thnk they're visible throughout the form if you set the controlsource for the textbox to m.run_date, same for the other value, but probably with a radio control.
