Hi,

I create a new database - works fine

I issue: sp_addlogin myname, password, database - works fine

I issue sp_grantdbaccess, myname - seems to work fine

In EM, I open property sheet of this login - go to database access tab where I clearly see that access has indeed been granted. But when I hit "OK" to close out, I get the error:

error 21776 [SQL-DMO] the name myname was not found in the users collection. If the name is a qualified name, use [] to separate various parts of the name, and try again.

I can not "uncheck" it here - just get the same error message. I can use sp_revokeaccess and then get back into it in EM and it works fine. This problem does not happen if I just check it in EM to start with instead of using the SP. Any ideas anyone?

TIA,
Ken
