I have a grid that has horizontal scrool bars, as there are too many columns to fit on the screen. I would like to be able to lock the first column, the NAME field (like you can do with the BROWSE command) such that when the user scrolls to the right to see the rest of the grid, the first column stays at the left side of the screen, so the user can always see the NAME to which the rest of the row belongs.

I can split a grid, but it doesn't work quite the way I want. Each pane contain the same fields; what I want is for the left pane to have the name field, the right pane to have the rest of the fields.

Any ideas?
