>I too had this problem, but the was not what the others posted. I was using a BMP file as window background. It was sitting on D:\FPW26\Bail. Without warning or visibility, FoxPro hard coded it as D:. The solution was to move my development to C:\FPW\bail and put the bitmap file on the DOS path somewhere on C:
I'll second that! I've seen several different problems that can cause this same error. The best solution, move FPW directory, all project files, libraries, bmps, etc. that may be used by the project to drive C. Before compiling any project make certain the default directory drive is C. Make certain that the default directory drive is C (that's worth repeating).
If you have already compiled an application that the above conditions are not met, then try George's fix. That's the one that bites the majority of the time. If no luck then you "might" be able to recover by opening the project database and fixing any references to another drive. If you have no sucess with that then re-create your project file from scratch after you move everything to C. This may require as Dennis mentioned opening all screens, reports, etc. to fix possible problems there. This can usually be done just by opening a screen (for example) from the project and fix any load errors.
