Hi gang,

I believe this one'll be for folks who've been around for awhile.

I have been asked (as a favor for a friend) to attempt to read some data from an *ancient* DOS program. I have NO CLUE what format the data is stored in, nor do I know the language the program is written in. I *can* see the files in WordPad (sort of).

Here are the file extensions for the data. ALL these file types have the same stem (DLP):
DB
DBS
I02
I06
I07
I08
I0C
I0F
PIX
RDF

In addition to these, there's some other files that have DFQ, BP3, PF3 and RP3 extensions. There's also a few IDX files, but they're not xBASE-oriented indexes.

I've already ruled out DataEase and DataFlex. My first thinking was Paradox, but I couldn't read them with VFP's IMPORT...TYPE PDOX command.

Anybody got a clue what software made these things?

TIA,
Evan Pauley
