I install it in the winsys directory (windows\system or windows\system32 for NT)
This is the location Win3.11 used for Font-storage and for backwards compatibility it scans that dir for fonts too.
Until there is a better way to find the fonts dir, I use this and pray that this will continue to work till that moment. <s>
