The UT Chat is acutally a Java app, but Rick Strahl has some intersting classes worth looking into if memory is correct.

If I read your right (add a Chat to a VFP form?) then I would intanciate IE on a form and navigate it to a regular Java Client Chat, I don't know the details about setting up a room and purchasing a default client. You might want to ask Michel where he got his and how he set it up.
