I need suggestions on where to look for my error. I am getting error 109 "record is in use by another" when no other user appears to have the table open much less the record locked.

This is a service call dispatching program whose main table is called ir (incident report).

All tables of form are opened in the data environment and are buffer mode 3. The most common time for the error to appear is when clicking on a button on the main form where calls are added/edited to see open calls. The button code selects the ir table and then sets the order to open. The error 109 comes on the line select ir.

I am pretty sure no one else has any records locked, but am lost as to how to investigate further.
