Hi Jimmy,
OK. If the CountrolSource property is set to a field in a table. And that table either has no records or a LOCATE or SKIP command has moved the record pointer beyond the last record, then the textbox will be disabled.
>>What is the controlsource? If it's data-bound, and the table it's bound to is at EOF, this would occur. Also, are you sure it's read-only and not disabled?
>>
>>>I have a textbox on a form that keeps coming up as read only, even though the property for readonly is set to false. what could i be doing wrong?
>>>
>>>Thanks Ahead of time
