You can get a complete description of the Adobe Arobat APIs in their SDK at
http://partners.adobe.com/asn/developer/acrosdk/
The entire SDK is a 16 meg download.

The individual files with the api notes in them are
http://partners.adobe.com/asn/developer/acrosdk/DOCS/apiovr.pdf
which contains an overview of the api
and
http://partners.adobe.com/asn/developer/acrosdk/DOCS/apiref.pdf
which contains a detailed descriptions of the api.

I have to output VFP reports via Adobe Acrobat and I'm interested in learning how to create bookmarks on the fly and how to combine various VFP reports into the same pdf file. I've just downloaded these files myself since I saw your post. I'm going to see what I can figure out.

There is an API wrapper at http://www.pdflib.com/ that says it versions that can be used with C, C++, Perl, and with VB. I have little hope that their VB version could be used with VFP.

I hope that somebody out there has some better ideas.

Gregg
