Bob,
Make sure you have the latest ODBC/ADO libraries installed (
www.microsoft.com/ado). The VFP ODBC driver has replaced the Fox 2.6 DBF driver, with the latest libraries installed it won't allow you to use the fox 2.6 and will inform you to use the VFP driver instead.
HTH,
Ed
>Can anybody tell me if there is a problem with Foxpro DBF and Visual Basic data controls. I'm trying to access a Fox 2.6 DBF file with a VB data control. My data control setting is for Connect=FoxPro 2.6 - available from the pulldown. Sometimes the connection will work, but most of the time I get a c0000005 error generated in the Dr. Watson error monitor. I am using NT4, VB6 and Fox2.6 databases.
