>>I'm not sure about this. SYS(1037) presents the Print Setup. This allows for the setting of orientation, paper size, etc., but not the number of copies So does setting the flags property of the Common Dialogs to 0x40. The collate check box (I believe) appears on the Print dialog, since this is the one that shows number of copies. Further, if you set the flags property to pdCollate (0x10), you'll see the page images in the dialog set to a collated sequence. Clearing this shows them in a non-collated sequence.

>At least in the case of the two printers I have set up here (Epson Stylus 600 and HP 5P), the # of copies is available through SYS(1037) through the Properties button of the initial Dialog, on the Paper tab. SYS(1037) presents the same dialog as the page Setup Dialog from the File/Page Setup menu point under the development version of VFP 5 and VFP 6.

The same here (different propreties dialog for me, however). The same dialog is available from the ShowPrinter. As I recall, and I don't have access to a printer capable of collating, the ShowPrinter method will display a check box. However, it is, I believe, only available when collating is a valid option.

Does either printer support collating?
George
