Hi guys,

Was adding functionality to my DESI app involving automation with Word. Was trying to figure out how to kill it. Assuming I start it up with oWord=CREATEOBJECT("Word.Application")......

If I Ctrl-Alt-Del to show tasks in Win98, I see "Winword". Expected.

If I RELEASE oWord and Ctrl-Alt-Del, I *still* see "Winword". Hmmm

If I oWord=.NULL. and Ctrl-Alt-Del, I *still* see "Winword". Hmmm again.

If I quit friggin VFP, I STILL SEE "Winword". Argggh.

What stupid, fundamental thing am I missing?
