After 21 years (3 with Raytheon after they bought Rust Engineering
from Waste Management), I'm now history -- laid off.


I got out of non-hi-tech groups into hi-tech and they didn't
know what to do with me. I prospered in the other groups, but
when I got in my real element, that management didn't have any
real insight into what to do with me.

So, if you can't figure out someone, throw them out.

I don't know quite what I'm going to do after being off for
7 weeks. I'm really particular.
