I would expect the combo to work correctly as the rowsource it's bound to changes, but I haven't tried it. Sorry. VFP 5 is supposed to allow a huge number of work areas. If you have only four tables open and it's choking, something is wrong that is way beyond my expertise. Have you tried opening the tables in the form's dataEnvironment?
